Questions about the car QR sticker
Can the person who scans see my number?
No. The car sticker page never shows your phone number or any contact details. They can only send you a notification.
Does the person scanning need the app?
No. The code opens a page in any phone browser, and one button sends the alert. Only the car owner needs Profiley, to receive the notification.
What stops someone sending alerts over and over?
There is a short wait before the same person can alert you again, and each alert expires after 30 minutes if you do not answer.
What if I sell the car?
Retire the code from your QR codes list. The sticker stops working immediately, and nobody can reach you through it again.
Is the car sticker free?
Yes. Creating the code, printing the sticker and receiving alerts are all free.
